Privacy Policy

LAPHO is a marketplace connecting buyers with independent, verified laptop sellers. This page explains what information we collect when you use LAPHO, how it's used, and who it's shared with.

What we collect

When you create a buyer account: your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address (state, city, address line, PIN code).
When you create a seller account: your store name, phone and alternative phone numbers, store address, email, and optionally your GST number and website.
When you place an order: the delivery address and phone number you provide for that order, and payment status (amount paid, payment type).
Usage data: which laptops you view, so we can show you "Recently viewed" and relevant listings.

How we use it

To create and secure your account — we send a one-time code to your email to verify sign-in and sign-up instead of using a password.
To connect buyers and sellers for an order: once you complete payment on an order, the buyer's delivery address and phone number are shared with that specific seller, and the seller's store address, phone number, and map link are shared with that buyer.
To send order updates — order confirmation, payment status, dispatch, and completion — by email, SMS, and WhatsApp, using the phone number and email on your account or order.
To improve the marketplace, such as showing relevant listings based on laptops you've viewed.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information to third parties.
We don't share your contact details with a seller (or a seller's details with you) until an order between you two is placed and paid for.
We don't store payment card details — payment processing is handled independently of this policy.

Your choices

You can update your account details at any time by contacting the seller you're transacting with, or through your account pages.
Login and signup use a 6-digit code sent to your email rather than a stored password, so there is no password for us to retain.
